Speech & Smile is a team of experienced professionals dedicated to helping children build communication, literacy, and learning skills through engaging, individualized support. Conveniently located in Petoskey, Michigan, we proudly serve families throughout Northern Michigan through both in-person and online services. We offer speech-language therapy, literacy support, tutoring, and specialized learning classes designed to help children gain confidence, strengthen skills, and achieve success. Meet Our Team Jill Bacigalupi, M.A., CCC-SLP Founder and Owner of Speech & Smile, Jill is a licensed speech-language pathologist with more than 20 years of experience working with children and families. She specializes in the evaluation and treatment of speech sound disorders, helping children improve speech clarity, confidence, and communication skills. Jill is passionate about creating engaging learning experiences and developing innovative resources that support speech, language, literacy, and learning. Kailey Riker, M.A., CCC-SLP Kailey is a licensed speech-language pathologist with more than 14 years of experience supporting children in speech, language, literacy, reading, spelling, and communication. She leads specialized learning classes that combine speech and literacy skills through interactive, evidence-based instruction. Molly McCarthy, B.S. Molly is an experienced educator with more than 16 years of classroom teaching experience and over 5 years of tutoring experience. She specializes in multisensory learning approaches that help students engage with reading, writing, and academic concepts through hands-on, interactive instruction. Molly is passionate about helping learners build confidence, strengthen skills, and develop a love of learning in a supportive and encouraging environment. Our Approach We believe children learn best through engagement, play, storytelling, and meaningful learning experiences. Our goal is to create a supportive environment where every child can build confidence, strengthen skills, and reach their full potential. We also believe caregivers play an essential role in a child's success and are committed to providing practical strategies, resources, and support to help families encourage communication, literacy, and learning beyond our sessions and classes.
